Droplet-kissed Leaves | Sepia

Published by TMTW under , on Wednesday, April 29, 2009
In keeping with the nature theme...

This is a small stem from the crab apple sapling in our front yard. The tender new leaves were covered with droplets from the hose.

Wow. What a difference. I like both and I find that the droplets on the sepia seem to stand out more.

I like both versions very much, although I must say that having longed for spring for so long, my eyes rest peacefully upon the tender spring green shoots!

The drops do stand out more in sepia, really lovely shot.

That's really nice in sepia - I like the light sepia shading. It looks very pretty!

so tender--as in tender shoots kissed by the dew. I love the comparison with the color

I really like the effect in sepia. It looks so soft, with the water droplets.

Both photos are wonderful. And if you hadn't told me I would have sworn you had photographed them after a spring rain. Beautiful work.
